Apple unveils new iPod touch

A cheaper version of iPod is unveiled and this is a surprising move from Apple, considering it has nothing to offer other than a lower price point at the expense of dropping some features.  Well, is this a move to grab more larger market or to a sign of imminent arrival of the rumoured cheaper iPhone?
